The moment I realise that I was not Over him was after one year of not chatting, and suddenly at a wedding, I saw him, and my heart skipped A beat that is when I Realised that I was not over him,
I wanted to talk to him But at that time, we were not in connection right so how could I talk to him?
But I realise that I had a connection with him right so why couldn’t I talk? Then I took courage and called out his name when he was alone, and he smiled at me and came to me, then I said, hey, How are you doing? Then he smiled and said I’m doing fine, and we talked a bit
After this, I some kind felt happiness like I was so happy, and I got so satisfied that I fell for him again, But the reality is, I won’t get him.
So, I finally decided to really move on like no, no, no, I won’t fall for him …
After 2.5 years Of texting, calling my feelings were growing Bigger and bigger day by day, and I knew that I won’t get him because I am not his type, but then I made a decision to change myself to be liked by him.
Then I told my friends about this and they said don’t change yourself to be liked by someone and they gave me some motivation and they say that this is no good for you. You have to be yourself, and if someone like the way you are, that is true Love.
So, I thought, yeah, yeah, why am I changing ? But also at that time I was so scared to confess my feelings to him because I have no confidence and full of insecurity. That Stopped me from confess my feelings to him.
Even my friends supports me to confess my feelings, but I was not ready because I was scared. What if I lose the fri…
After that last incident, we were still secretly chatting. Online friends only.
Then one day he asked me - "Your neighbour's wedding is coming right? She is also my relative and I will be there."
He told me himself that he will be there. I didn't even ask. He wanted me to know.
So I went to that wedding with my heart beating fast. I knew he would be there somewhere.
And then I saw him.
Black shirt. Black pant. With a white necklace.
God. He looked so pretty. No, handsome. That black shirt was fitting him perfectly, that white chain shining on it, his hair set so neatly. He was not trying to show off, but he was shining in the whole wedding hall.
I froze.
We saw each other unexpectedly in the crowd. And he smiled at me. That same childhood smile from Andhra pradesh, but now more mat…
So am from one of the few family where we celebrate one or two festives in a year!
Christmas being my most favourite holiday! Next comes Onam and now I fell in love with Ganesh Chathurthi as well.
After I visited my best friends place for Ganesh Pooja I started feeling very delighted, extremely happy seeing the beautiful homely decor and made me feel to add this to my fav holiday list!
As we all know most of us has grown up watching Lord Ganesha’s cartoons and celebrating his birthday is like celebrating one of my friend’s.
I really see myself connected to this holiday.
Am one of the person who doesn’t believe in superstitions and believing that going to temple is the only way to get your wishes come true.
I do believe in god, but in my own way that’s slightly different from w…
First thing that I did after I decided that I am going to take my blogging journey seriously after reading the 'Atomic habits' was to change my identity. As the author Janes Clear said in the book that we need to see ourself in the position that we want to achieve. Instead of saying "I am trying to" we should shift our mindset to "I am". I did exactly that.
To a lot of people while mentioning my hobbies and interest I would say, "I try to write creative every now when then. It is nothing serious. I try to write casually". After reading the book I realised that I myself was not taking my dreams seriously. When I called myself 'casual writer' obviously nobody would take me seriously because I did not see myself as a serious writer. I understood that I needed to change this mindset.
I deci…
We were so small. Full family trip to Andhra Pradesh.
I don't even remember why we fought, but we did. Like proper kids. We smiled, we laughed, we scolded each other, we fought for small things. "My side", "No my side". That kind of children stuff.
That was my first memory of him. My cousin's cousin. 2 years older than me.
After we came back to Kerala, we barely saw each other. After the trip, I didn't see him much at all. And the sometime I did see him on road, we didn't even look at each other. We behaved like we don't know each other. Complete strangers.
I thought he forgot me.
Then I turned 15, he was 17. I was at home, scrolling Instagram. His ID came. I don't know where I got courage from, but I texted first.
"Do you remember me? Andhra Pradesh trip?"
He replied within 5 minut…
In my 11th class summer vacation, I had absolutely nothing to do. My uncle knew a guy who owned a small photo studio near Lower Bazaar in Shimla. He needed someone to just sit in the shop during the evenings and handle basic printouts.I said I would do it. It wasn't even for the money; it was just for a bit of timepass. The owner told me he would give me 200 rupees per day.On the first day, he taught me how to turn on the big printer and how to cut passport-size photos with the alignment cutter. It looked easy enough. By the second day, he trusted me enough to leave me alone for two hours, saying, "If anyone comes for something complicated, just call me."Almost as soon as he left, a family came in for a group photo print. They handed me a pen drive. I plugged it into thecomputer, and the …
Every morning, arun woke up to the same alarm followed the same road, and accirding to the rules he had never written. He studied what other expected, chose what seemed acceptable, and slowly became comfortable with a life that never truely felt like this .one evening, while sitting alone beneath an old tree, he wondered, " when did i stop choosing?". The question frightened him because there was no clear answer..he realized many of his decisions had been shaped by fear--fear of disappointing others , failing or being different.. yet nobody had actually asked him to surrender his dreams.he had surrendered them silently. The next morning arun didn't change his entire life ..he simply made one choice for himself, he took a different road nothing extraordinary happened. But for the fir…
It was the Holi of 2024 when it all started. It was a holiday for me and while I did not have anything to do in the evening I was actively looking for some activity. Suddenly an idea crossed my mind, "What if I start my own blog?" I definitely liked that Idea and decided to work on it immediately (I am the kind of person who starts working on ideas if I like them. I prefer not to procrastinate them). I went on to the search engine to find which app is free of cost for blogging. I downloading the app and created my first blog within next one hour.
Day one was absolutely thrilling. I had created a short 5 sentence blog but I was happy that at least I got myself on the track. I used to write during my school and college days however as I started working my creative writing took a step back.…

When I started studying agriculture, I thought it was mainly about crops, soil, farming and production. I thought farming was mostly about helping farmers produce more, making farming easier and helping them earn a better income.
But slowly, I started understanding that agriculture is connected to almost everything around us.
Behind every plate of food, there is a farmer, a field and a lot of hard work that we usually do not see. Agriculture is not only about producing food. It is also about protecting natural resources, supporting rural communities and finding better ways to meet the food needs of a growing population.
As I continue my journey as a third year agriculture student, I am learning something new everyday. Some subjects are difficult, and sometimes practical classes make me rea…
In August 1997, 22-year-old Diana Clare Routley was travelling through India.
She had already visited Agra before arriving in Varanasi, where she stayed at the Old Vishnu Guest House. For a young traveller exploring a
country far from home, her journey appeared completely ordinary. On August 8, Diana spoke to her father.
It would be the last confirmed contact her family had with her.Two days later, on August 10, Diana left the guest house at around 7 in the morning. She was supposed to travel by train from Varanasi towards Darjeeling.
But she never reached her destination. When Diana failed to contact her family, concern quickly turned into fear.
Her father eventually came to India and authorities began looking into her disappearance. Investigators learned that Diana had been in contact wit…
I came across this line today and, honestly, I had to read it twice
“Tum kisi ke pasandida nahi ho, tum bas mayassar ho, maujood ho…”
At first, it sounds almost cruel.
Because who wants to believe that they’re only in someone’s life because they happen to be available? Not because they’re special, not because they’re chosen, but simply because they're there.
Lekin phir socha… kya hum kabhi kabhi khud bhi aisa karte hain?
Kisi ko message karna ho toh usi ek insaan ko yaad karna jo hamesha reply karega , kahin jaana ho toh usi ko bula lena jo kabhi mana nahi karta , dil ki baat kehni ho toh usi ke paas chale jaana jo hamesha sun lega , and slowly, without even realising it, we start confusing someone being available with someone being valued.
Maybe that’s the uncomfortable part.
There is a d…
My dadaji has an old, small radio that hasn't worked for two or three years. Despite that, he always keeps it right next to his bed.
One day, while I was cleaning his room, I picked it up and said, "Dadaji, ye kharab hai, fenk dete hai."
He got a bit defensive and angry. "Kharab nahi hai," he insisted. "Battery khatam hai."I told him I would go get a new battery. I went down to the market and searched three different shops, but no one carried those large, old-fashioned batteries anymore. One shopkeeper finally told me, "Yeh ab milta hi nahi hai bhai."
When I came back and told my grandfather the news, he didn't say a word. He silently took the radio back, wiped it down carefully with his handkerchief, and placed it right back in its usual spot. The next day, I caught him turning the knob ag…
There is a momo stall near my college that only makes veg momos on Tuesdays and Fridays. I went there on a Tuesday, completely starving since I hadn't eaten anything since the morning. There were four people ahead of me in the queue.
When my turn finally came, the vendor looked at me and said, "Khatam ho gaye bhai."I stood there in disbelief. He explained that the guy right before me had just bought the last two plates. I was so crestfallen that I just froze, not knowing what to say. Sensing my disappointment, the guy who had taken the last plates turned to me and asked, "Aadhe le lega?"
And just like that, we shared. Two absolute strangers standing on the side of the road, eating from the same plate with two different chutneys. We didn't even ask each other's names. We just finished the f…
Rahul somehow spent his entire day in the office thinking about the events from the previous night, the events he saw on the news, and knowing that one of their friends Kumar is missing. What if he was going to have the same fate as Kumar? The thought made Rahul shiver.
Rahul stayed in the office as long as he could. He felt that office was a safer place as compared with his home. The group knew where he stayed but probably they did not know very he worked. Finally when it was too late he had to leave the office and he went home.
The cctv cameras had already been received. He decided to place them at his home at soon as he could. He was glad that fixing the cctv cameras was an easy task and he could do that within 1 hour. While he was having his dinner the doorbell rang. He was about t…
From the very beginning, the world had already decided what she was.
A GIRL.
And somehow, the one word seemed to come with the hundred expectations.
She was the second daughter in her family, and from childhood, she grew up hearing things that slowly made her believe that being second daughter made her a burden.
Maybe nobody said it to her ever day. But children understand more than adult realize. They notice the conversation that stop when they enter a room. They notice the comparison, the expectations, the way the society looks at a second daughter of the family.
She noticed everything.
For years ,those thoughts followed her.
Maybe I am burden.
Maybe I am not enough.
Maybe this is simply what a girl is supposed to accept.
But somewhere inside the little girl, there was something the wor…
It was six o'clock when Rahul's alarm clock rang. Rahul woke up with a jolt. While sitting on his bed he was still thinking about the nightmare and the subsequent events that had occurred. Everything that he had seen last night felt like a fever dream. It was not a dream and it had really happened. With the daybreak Rahul wanted to find out what had happened the previous night. He wanted a rational explanation towards everything that had happened last night.
Rahul got a ready and began his commute for the office. The only thought that had been bothering him was the horror of the previous night. He was determined to ask his office friends about that. He wanted them to know what he had witnessed the previous night. He wanted to pass on the information to his friends in case something happen…
