Adulting was never about birthday for me. I do remember turning 18 and thinking it was a serious age but the actual adulthood came with experience. I realised that relatives are not going to be there for you. Maturity was realising that both mom’s side and dad’s sode are equally t0xic in their own ways and its the man for himself in this world!
