Missing old days

I miss my old days my childhood when I was so unbothered and joyful , The sunday wake up late in the morning , Mom wash my hairs ,make us our favourite breakfast then I watch my favourite cartoons ,mom put oil in my hairs make a tight braids, then do some homework have lunch then I sleep till evening .Wake up and then go to play with friends come back watch a movie with my family dinner and sleep Those were golden days of my life, no worries about future or work career anything just little worry about studies nothing else . When we were little we think life will be fun when we become an adult but in reality it’s totally different. It’s difficult to survive in this world when you have a heart of a child . If there is a time travel thing happen in real life I would love to go back to thos

A good start

Something unexpectedly nice happened this morning. While walking to the bus stop. I noticed a little boy sharing his umbrella with an older man waiting beside him.vit was such a small thing but I caught myself smiling all the way to college. Nothing else about the day changed Classes were still sring my assignment was still unfinished and the bus ride home was still crowded. Yet everything felt slightly easier. Maybe that's what a positive moment does.bit doesn't magically fix the day. It simply changes the lens through which we experience everything afterwards. Sometimes starting with something good is enough.

Life before we were always online

What did we even do before phones? Sometimes I genuinely wonder what life was like before phones and social media became such a huge part of everything Imagine having a whole day and not feeling the need to check your phone every few minutes. No Instagram stories. No Snapchat streaks. No WhatsApp group messages. No checking who viewed your story. No random scrolling when you’re bored So what did people actually do all day? 😭 They probably just went outside. You’d meet your friends by actually going to their house or calling them from the landline If someone didn’t answer, you couldn’t just send a “where are you?” text. You’d either wait or try again later, and birthdays must have felt so different too Instead of waking up to hundreds of notifications, you’d probably get a few phone calls,

The Art Of CONNECTION

Connections... A feeling of love, trust, respect & dignity amongst the individuals showcase. Some connections are made by choice, and some of them aren't by choice those are made by emotions. A world that feels connections would be my most favorite because who would like to live in a world of millions without a single heart. We as humans, are here to make connections, deeper & farther to the earth itself. I have personally dealt with connections in my life, and trust me some of them I had to make, but there are a few of those that come from within - by standing on your opinions for what it matters. There have been people in my life I love, people who love me, but there's connection between me & her, where I love her and she loves me back "THE MOTHER EARTH". At the end, connections or so

The Neighbor's Wi-Fi

Our neighbor's Wi-Fi was always stronger than ours. So, naturally, my friends and I had a very respectful relationship with their router. Every evening, we'd sit near the window pretending to study. Actually, we were waiting for the Wi-Fi to connect. One day, the password suddenly changed. We were devastated. My friend said, “This is the end of our friendship with the neighbors.” The next evening, their little son came to our gate. He looked at us and said, “Uncle said you can use the Wi-Fi. The new password is written on the wall. ”We looked at each other. The password was: “JustAsk.” We had been stealing their Wi-Fi for six months. They had known the whole time. Nobody said anything. We stopped pretending to study near the window after that. We started visiting them for tea instead.

The Woman Upstairs

Every morning at exactly 7:15, someone upstairs dropped something. Bang. Every single day. One day I finally went upstairs. An old woman opened the door. I asked politely, “Aunty, what keeps falling every morning?” She looked embarrassed. “My alarm clock.” I stared at her. “Every day?” She nodded. “It falls when I try to turn it off.” I laughed. The next morning, there was no sound. No bang. No alarm. Nothing. I got worried and went upstairs. She opened the door smiling. “I bought a new alarm.” “Problem solved?” She nodded. “Completely.” Then she whispered, “But honestly… I miss throwing the old one.”

Five Rupees

My friend owed me ₹5. Not ₹500. Not ₹50. Just ₹5. I reminded him about it for almost two years. Every time he saw me, he'd say, “I haven't forgotten.” One day he suddenly gave me ₹10. I said, “I only asked for ₹5.” He said, “₹5 is the money I owe you. The other ₹5 is for all the reminders.” We both laughed. I still have that ₹10. Not because it was valuable. Because somehow, ₹5 became one of our longest-running friendships.

It Was Just A Perfume, But Still…

It Was Just A Perfume, But Still…

Okay, this might sound really stupid, but my favourite perfume literally broke and I'm still not over it. 😭 It wasn't even some super expensive perfume or anything. It was just one bottle that I had been using for quite a while. But somehow, it had become my perfume. You know when you have a few perfumes but there's always that one you automatically pick? You don't even think about it. You're getting ready, you look at the bottles, and your hand just goes towards that one. That was mine. I used to wear it on random days, when going out, while getting ready, sometimes even when I wasn't going anywhere. I just really liked the smell, and after using it for so long, Istarted associating it with myself. Then one day, I was just moving things around and somehow the bottle slipped. I literally w

Lalbaug cha raja experience

Lalbaug cha raja experience

Yesterday, I went to Lalbaugcha Raja with so much faith excitement, and respect for Bappa. I was ready to stand in the crowd. wait patiently and go through all the difficult situation. just for a few seconds of Darshan. but honestly, the behaviour of volunteers and management towards the normal public is worst experience I have ever had at the place of worship. The way normal duty is worth shouted at push around and spoken was extremely worst and disrespectful. instead of showing a little understanding we were treated as we were some kind of problem. what shocked me the most was the attitude-as the ordinary people don’t deserve little respect. we are not asking for VIP Darshan. We are not asking for special privilege. We are just came to lots of faith and to see the Bappa peacefully and to

The Things We Somehow Know Without Being Told

Have you ever noticed how there are some things you just know without anyone actually telling you? Like knowing that your friend is upset even when they're saying, “I'm fine.” Knowing your mom is going to ask you to do something just by the way she walks into your room. 😭 Knowing that your favourite shop is about to close because the lights look slightly different. Or knowing exactly which cupboard door makes that annoying sound even though you've never consciously paid attention to it. I think our brains quietly collect so many little details without us realising. You know the sound of someone’s footsteps before you even see them. You can tell who's calling just by the way they say “hello.” You know when it's about to rain because the air suddenly feels different. You know your usual route

Four of us live in a third-floor apartment

Four of us live in a third-floor apartment

Four of us live in a third-floor apartment. Lately, it has also become home to four pigeons who have moved in uninvited. Their constant noise and mess often test our patience. Many times, we have wanted to chase them away for good. But every single time we decide to do so, we stop ourselves. We know a secret: tucked away in a small nest is a single egg, waiting to hatch into a fifth pigeon. Knowing that a tiny new life is on its way, we swallow our frustration and choose mercy over convenience. We gladly share our space, quietly waiting for that small miracle to arrive.

The Weight of Keeping

The Weight of Keeping

There was once a person who had a collection, not of things, but of goodbyes. Movie tickets from an old friend who moved away. A dried flower from somebody who had given it to them long ago. A photograph with a person whose name they hadn’t uttered in years. A receipt from the café where two people had promised to come back again, even though neither of them did. Their room became a museum of the people who had once been in their life but were no longer there. Whenever someone had left, they would keep something of theirs, so the parting would not feel as though it truly was. Something to hold on to, so the space between them would not feel as vast. As long as they had something to remember them by, perhaps it would signify that person had not, in fact, completely vanished from existence.

With my comfort people

I noticed how children I became around the people I'm completely comfortable with. Today we were sitting together, supposedly having a serious conversation, but within minutes someone made a stupid joke, another person started limitating our professor and suddenly we were laughing so loudly that everyone nearby stared at us. When I love is how effortlessly that version of me appears. I don't worry about looking mature saying the perfect thing, or behaving properly. I can be annoying dramatic, silly and completely ridiculous without feeling embarrassed. Maybe comfort isn't always quiet and peaceful. Sometimes it is having people who make you comfortable enough to be completely

When your best friend becomes a stranger

Sometimes loosing a friend hurts more than any relationship. Not cause something traumatic happened. There was no fight , no arguments and no final words .Sometimes a friendship simply becomes one sided until one person gets tired knowvking on the door that’s no longer being opened . I once believed that the fiends we make during the most important years of our lives will remain with us forever . we share classrooms ,secrets ,silly jokes, difficult exams ,birthdays and countless ordinary moments that don’t feel important until they become memories . Then life happens . People get jobs , move to better places , meet new people and become busy .At first you understand you make calls . Then other . you forgive the cancelled plans and unanswered texts .You tell yourself maybe they’re busy . Bu

If You Could Relive One Ordinary Day

If You Could Relive One Ordinary Day

If someone suddenly gave me the option to go back and live one completely ordinary day from my past, I don't think I'd choose my birthday, a big celebration, or even the happiest day I can remember. I'd probably choose one of those normal days that didn't feel special at that time. Maybe a random summer afternoon when everyone was at home. The TV was playing something in the background, someone was complaining about the heat, and there was absolutely nothing important happening. Or maybe one of those school days when the only thing I was worried about was finishing my homework before going to sleep. It's funny how we don't realise we're living a memory while it's happening. At that moment, we're just thinking about tomorrow. "Kal kya karna hai?" "Homework kab complete hoga?" "Weekend kab a

The train ticket

I found an old train ticket inside a book today. The date was from five years ago and I immediately remembered the journey the noisy platform paper cup of tea a stranger sleeping against the window and my ridiculous excitement about going somewhere alone. What surprised me was the destination. I don't remember every going there. I checked the ticket again. Same name same date, same station. Maybe I went and simply forgot. Maybe it belonged to someone else. Eithervway I spent evening wondering about the person who held this ticket and what happened after they boarded than train.

Do not ignore

Recently, i admitted in a college I was not aware about the timetable and other schedule of my college. As soon as i was added in the college's official group, firstly i texted those of my batchmates whose DP was visible i messaged the first person but she didn't reply then i messaged another girl she didn't reply too. Then i texted some random person of the college group whose DP wasn't visible even then that random person didn't reply to me.I was upset about the attitude of my batchmates I was thinking which kind of people they are, replying someone hardly takes 1-2 min but these people are so reckless. However, I was desperate about the ongoing classes schedule hence, i texted 4th one with the God grace that person finally replied then i took a sigh of relief atleast someone is there a

Why Do We Have A Favourite Everything?

Why Do We Have A Favourite Everything?

Have you ever noticed how we all have a favourite version of almost everything? A favourite pen that somehow writes better than every other pen. A specific cup that makes chai taste better for absolutely no logical reason. One particular side of the bed that feels more comfortable. A song that you listen to a hundred times without getting bored. And the funny thing is, most of the time, our favourites aren't even objectively better. There are probably ten other pens sitting somewhere in the house, but somehow you still search for that one. Maybe it's not really about the object. Maybe it's about the tiny feeling attached to it. I have this habit of getting weirdly attached to random things, not expensive things, not necessarily beautiful things either. Sometimes it's something completely

The loneliness we hide so well

There is a strange kind of loneliness that doesn’t look like loneliness at all.You can be surrounded by people and still feel completely alone. You can sit with your friends, laugh at their jokes, participate in conversations and even take pictures together, yet something inside you can still feel strangely empty. And perhaps that is the hardest kind of loneliness—the kind nobody notices. We have become incredibly good at hiding it.We reply to messages with “haha,” even when we don’t feel like talking. We say “I’m fine” because explaining what is actually wrong feels exhausting. We keep ourselves busy because silence gives our thoughts too much room. Sometimes, we open social media not because we have anything interesting to see, but because we don’t want to feel alone with ourselves. We scr

The Balcony

Our neighbor and I never really talked. But every evening, we were both on our balconies. Me with tea. Her with a book. We didn't know each other's names. Months passed. Then one evening, her balcony was empty. The next day, empty again. A week later, someone told me her family had moved away. I never even knew her name. But for some reason, the next evening, I still went to the balcony at the same time. Habit, I guess. I looked at the empty balcony. And smiled. It's strange how someone can become part of your daily life... without ever becoming part of your conversation.

The Screenshot

She accidentally sent him a screenshot of their old conversation. He replied: “Why are you looking at this?” She said, “I was cleaning my gallery.” He laughed. “Still thinking about me?” “No.” “Then why keep the screenshot?” She didn't answer. Because the screenshot wasn't from their conversation. It was from the day he told her he was proud of her. That was the one sentence she had never heard from anyone else. She deleted the screenshot that night. Not because she stopped caring. Because she finally realized she didn't need someone else's words to believe in herself.

She sent: “Are you awake?” Seen. No reply. She sent another: “I really need someone to talk to.” Seen. Still nothing. She put her phone down and cried herself to sleep. At 2:13 AM, her phone vibrated. A message: “Sorry. I didn't know what to say.” She stared at it. Then typed: “You could've just said, ‘I'm here.’” Three dots appeared. Then disappeared. No reply. The Woman Who Collected Goodbyes

Every Sunday, an elderly woman went to the railway station with an empty notebook. She never bought a ticket. She never boarded a train. She simply sat on Bench 17 and wrote. Nobody knew what she was writing. For years, the tea seller had watched her arrive at exactly 5:40 p.m. She would sit quietly, listen to the announcements, watch people hug each other, and fill one page before leaving. One evening, curiosity finally won. “Amma, what do you write every Sunday?” She closed the notebook. “Goodbyes.” The tea seller laughed. “Why would anyone collect goodbyes?” She looked at the crowded platform. “Because people remember the person leaving. Nobody remembers the words they said.” He didn't understand. She opened the notebook. There were hundreds of pages. Each page had a date. A train numbe

The Last Customer

Every evening at exactly 7:15, an old man came into the little bakery near the bus stand. He always bought the cheapest thing on the shelf. One bun. Not two. Not tea. Just one bun. The girl working at the counter had noticed him from the first week she started working there. He was quiet, thin, and always carried the same brown cloth bag. One rainy evening, she finally asked, “Uncle, you come here every day. Is the bun enough for dinner?” He smiled. “It is enough for me.” She wanted to ask more, but a customer walked in. The next evening, he came again. 7:15. One bun. The girl secretly began adding a small packet of biscuits to his bag. The old man noticed. “You made a mistake,” he said. “No. The bakery gives offers to regular customers.” He looked at her for a few seconds. Then he smiled.

The Little Creature That Owns The House

The Little Creature That Owns The House

I never really understood people who said cats are "just pets" Because if you have a cat, you already know that's not how it works. You don't own a cat. The cat simply decides that you are useful enough to live in the same house. One minute they're sleeping peacefully somewhere, looking completely innocent, and the next minute they are staring at you like you've personally dissappointed them. And somehow, they have the funniest little habits. Mine can ignore me for hours, but the second i sit somewhere comfortably, suddenly that's the exact place they want to be. I'll move a little so they have space, and they'll still somehow choose the smallest possible corner right next to me. Then there are those random 3AM moments when they suddenly have enough energy to run around the entire house l

The Name on the Hospital Wall

The hospital cafeteria opened at 6 a.m. By 6:05, the same young woman was already sitting at the corner table. She came every morning. She ordered one tea. Nothing else. The cafeteria worker eventually asked her, “Are you waiting for someone?” “Yes.” “Who?” “My brother.” “But I never see him.” “He doesn't come here anymore.” The worker didn't understand. She smiled. “He loved hospital tea.” That became their routine. Every morning, one tea. Every morning, the same table. One day, the woman didn't come. Neither the next day nor the next. After a week, the cafeteria worker noticed something strange. Someone had written a name on the wall near the corner table. ARUN He asked the hospital security guard about it. And it made me realize one thing for sure.... "A small pain brought me back to the present..where I could still get hurt and be okay..nd for once, the past wasn’t the whole world of mine...
