I had worked hard toward a goal, but the results were not coming. Every time I thought I was getting closer, another problem appeared. Slowly, I startedquestioning whether my efforts were even worth it.One evening, I seriously considered giving up.

I went for a walk because I did not want to sit at home thinking about the same things. On the way, I noticed a small tree growing through a crack in a concrete wall

It was not particularly beautiful or large. In fact, it looked as though it should not have been able to grow there at all.I stopped for a moment and looked at it.

That tiny tree made me think about how growth does not always require perfect conditions. Sometimes, life grows wherever it finds even a small opportunity.

I returned home with a different mindset.I did not suddenly become confident, and my problems did not disappear. But I decided that I would stop asking myself whether success was guaranteed. Instead, I would ask whether the next step was still worth taking.

The answer was yes.So I continued. Some days were productive. Some were frustrating. There were moments when I doubted myself again. But I kept returning to the work.Eventually, I understood that perseverance is not about feeling motivated every day. It is aboutcontinuing even when motivation is missing. We often admire people after they succeed and assume that they were always confident. We rarely see the daysbwhen they wanted to quit, the failures they experienced, or the doubts they carried.Success is often built quietly, through ordinary decisions to continue. You do not need to see the entire path to take the next step. Sometimes, the decision to keep going is itself a form of courage.

The little tree growing through the crack in the concrete is such a beautiful metaphor. 🌱 Sometimes we keep waiting for the “right” conditions to grow, not realising that life has never promised us perfect ones. I also loved the idea that perseverance isn’t about being motivated every day; sometimes it’s simply deciding that the next step is worth taking. We don’t always need proof that we’ll succeed sometimes we just need enough courage to continue.

Just keep chugging along the results will come soon. Try to take out sometime for selfcare because these breaks help you see the big picture.
